  1. Sometimes you get to see interesting signage. There is a lot of political will, it would seem, in Brno to make the city a more bicycle-friendly place. But there is work to be done. As you can see, even the streeets are filled with unseen furnitures.

  3. Ikea is a nightmare when busy at weekends or bank holidays (outright fights during sale time), best to go in the morning when they open. Invaluable for common house hold stuff, and for cheap shelving and storage etc.

    But be careful with bedding, they use their own sizing making it difficult to get new bed sheets, with out going back to Ikea (a cunning sales trick!).
